Handheld Fluorometer/Turbidimeter

The AquaFluor handheld fluorometer/turbidimeter is a lightweight yet rugged instrument ideal for taking rapid, accurate measurements in the field or laboratory. The device contains onboard datalogging (optional) for up to 1,000 readings and uses standard AAA batteries.

It is available as either a single or dual channel instrument . Standard optics include: Chlorophyll a in vivo, Chlorophyll a Extracted, Blue Green Algae (both Phycocyanin and Phycoerythrin), Fluorescein Dye, Rhodamine WT Dye, Turbidity, CDOM/FDOM, Ammonium and Optical Brighteners. Custom optics can also be configured to suit your application.

Intuitive Operation

Samples are collected in plastic cuvettes or glass tubes and slotted into the instruments measurement chamber.  A single button press is all that is required to take a measurement or toggle between the channels. Measurements stored to the instrument memory can be downloaded directly into Microsoft Excel using included data transfer software.

Solid Secondary Standards are available for the AquaFluor which allow the user to rapidly recalibrate the instrument or check its stability and performance. The calibration procedure allows for a single point standard and blank.
